FIT (Faecal Immunochemical Test) is a test that looks for blood in a sample of your poo (see imagr) It looks for tiny traces of blood that you might not be able to see and which could be a sign of bowel cancer, before symptoms occur.
In the UK, screening for bowel cancer with FIT testing starts from the age of 60, however this is due to be expanded to those over the age of 50 over time. In the USA, bowel cancer screening starts for those over the age of 45.
The Elite Wellbeing and Cancer Screening package includes a radiation-free Whole Body MRI Scan at the world-renowned Paul Strickland Scanner Centre and well as Bowel cancer screening with the FIT stool test.
